Successful Criminal Defense case

2025. A client was arrested and charged with knocking out a stranger.  Having done so with his fist.  The stranger had to go to an Emergency Room via ambulance.

The client had been charged with a "Class 1" misdemeanor, which is right up next to a felony in severity.

The above graphic was valid as of 01/12/2025. The client was facing $2,500 in fines plus surcharges, up to six months in jail, with 3 years in probation.  Not to mention having to wait 3 years before eligible for expungement. Jack convinced the prosecutor to reduce his client's charge to a "Class 3" misdemeanor.  While he did have to pay the "victim" restitution and ordered to take an Anger Management class (outside of the state of Arizona), the defendant was not sentenced to any jail-time and received no fines, no surcharges, no probation.  The waiting period for expungement eligibility was also lowered to 2 years as opposed to 3 (if the original charge had not been lowered).
